Below you find a step-by-step manual for using the tool. It collects (potential) financing round information of ventures in order to structure cap tables including all special deal terms. Based on the information, the tool provides exit proceed scenarios to make the impact of deal terms transparent for all types of investors, founders and employees. With ten steps you get ahead…
Step 1 | Register above to create an account. |
Step 2 | Find our automatically generated registration mail and confirm your registration. |
Step 3 | Go to eit-vctool.com and log into your account. |
Step 4 | Provide information regarding your first financing round - usually the initialization of the business. |
Step 5 | Add this financing round entry to your cap table by pressing the “Submit” button. |
Step 6 | Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all financing round that you want to add to your cap table. |
Step 7 | Once you have added all financing rounds, click on “Request report” to initiate the generation of our tool based on your data entries. |
Step 8 | Our experts will cautiously review your data entries, provide feedback and the report containing your captable, an exit proceed dashboard and a negotiation simulator where you can plan the next upcoming financing round (all within two working days). |
Step 9 | Based on our feedback and the report, you have the opportunity to get quick free of charge support from us in a 15 minutes call to further improve your planning. |
Step 10 | In your login area, you can manage/ edit your cap table entries and request new reports. |
